While I hate that football season is coming to an end, it does mean the welcome return of Sunday Night Open Jams.
We had a great crowd and a number of talented musicians came out.
We started off in jam mode with the Cucumber Set. Bryan did amazing and smoothly went from Solo Accoustic to an integrated jam with JB and then Bubba on Drums. Sergio came in eventually before closing the set.
We went straight into Open Jam mode with several great sets the first was Bubba, Chris Edwards, Sergio, Bryan, Brian on Harmonica, Phil and Phillipe taking turns at Percussion. They picked it up a little bit and got quite jazzy.
Our Next set featured Jeff the Entertainer leading Phillipe and Phil on drums, Bubba did some keys, Chris on Bass, Sergio and Jeff held guitar. Some great covers were done and it was around this time that the Sportstime staff came in from their Christmas Party.
The Christmas Party led to a Drunk Sportstimer's set, led by the talented Drew Epton with Eric Osman on Drums, Bubba on Keys, Bryan on Bass, Drew also pulling guitar, with Phil, Phillipe and even I pulling turns on percussion. Brian did some harmonica on this set as well. They all sounded great, and were obviously having a good time.
With the Ladies of Sportstime dancing, we hit the Rob Roux Set. Rob was on Guitar, Chaz got his taste of action, Bryan and Chris split bass, Sergio joined Rob on Guitar. Dubs was the main percussion guy.
The FA-Q ALLiance closed it off doing Funkly Like the Jew and some quicker numbers.

The crowd was solid all night, and I think everyone had a great time. The Sportstime Christmas Party may have very well made the night. Watching our lovely ladies dance was a lot of fun, and I hadn't seen Tammy smile so much in a while which was great to see.

Overall, it was great to be back. We won't play next week because of the SuperBowl, but we will be returning weekly February 12th.
